Could a simple At-Home swab replace the Doctor's visit for cervical cancer screening?

NCT ID NCT06498661

Summary

This study is testing whether a vaginal sample you collect yourself at home is as good at finding the HPV virus as a sample a doctor collects during a pelvic exam. It involves 520 women who are already scheduled for a follow-up cervical exam. The goal is to make cervical cancer screening easier and more comfortable, which could help more people get tested.
