New At-Home COVID test seeks approval in major accuracy trial
NCT ID NCT06744660
Summary
This study is testing a new at-home COVID-19 test kit called the Metrix COVID Test to see how accurately it detects the virus compared to standard lab tests. Researchers will enroll 1,000 people aged 2 and older who currently have symptoms like fever or cough. Participants will use the test kit in a simulated home setting, and their results will be checked against a standard FDA-approved test performed by a healthcare worker.
