Zap away depression at home? new brain stimulation trial seeks answers
NCT ID NCT06976697
Summary
This study is testing whether a safe, non-invasive brain stimulation device can help treat major depression when used at home. For 10 weeks, 200 participants will use the device, with half receiving a fake version for comparison, all while being monitored remotely by video. The goal is to see if this convenient, home-based treatment can effectively reduce symptoms of depression.
