NCT ID NCT05381155
First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested whether a single session of recalling a traumatic childbirth memory followed by playing Tetris could reduce intrusive memories in 120 women who had given birth at least 6 weeks earlier. Half received the intervention immediately, while the other half waited. The goal was to see if this simple, low-cost approach could ease distressing memories and improve well-being for mothers and their families.
