First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at whether tongue images and pulse wave data can help doctors diagnose and track asthma in children aged 5 to 18. Researchers will collect these non-invasive measurements during routine check-ups and compare them with standard lung function tests. The goal is to find a simpler, more objective way to monitor asthma without extra pokes or procedures. About 1,000 children will take part at Shanghai Children's Medical Center.
