Scientists hunt for new asthma clues in lung tissue
NCT ID NCT06427018
Summary
This study aims to understand asthma better by measuring two specific proteins, Ezrin and Pip5k1α, in the airway muscle tissue of people with and without asthma. Researchers will analyze 120 preserved lung tissue samples from previous surgeries. The goal is to see if these proteins are different in asthma patients, which could help scientists develop new types of asthma medications in the future.
