Can a paper letter help fight climate change in asthma care?
NCT ID NCT05761873
Summary
This study tested if sending doctors a paper letter, in addition to an email, is more effective than an email alone at changing their prescribing habits. The goal was to see which method leads to more prescriptions of asthma inhalers with a lower environmental impact. It involved 273 primary care practices in West Yorkshire, UK, and focused on improving care while reducing the carbon footprint of treatment.
