NIH seeks asthma clues in understudied african populations

NCT ID NCT03937804

Summary

This study aims to understand why asthma affects people of African descent more severely by collecting health information and biological samples. Researchers enrolled 83 adults who either have asthma or no breathing issues to compare their genetic and environmental factors. The goal is to build a research database to identify genes and other factors that contribute to asthma risk in these populations.
