Can a 6-Minute step test replace complex asthma fitness exams?
NCT ID NCT07357805
Summary
This study aimed to see if a simple, 6-minute stepping test could be a good way to measure exercise capacity in adults with asthma. Researchers compared the stepping test results to those from a more complex, lab-based exercise test in 41 participants. The goal was to find a quicker, easier method for doctors to check how asthma affects a person's fitness in everyday settings.
