ER to specialist: can a simple telehealth link stop repeat asthma attacks?
NCT ID NCT07396987
Summary
This study is testing if scheduling a telehealth appointment with an asthma specialist right from the emergency room (ER) helps adults get better follow-up care after an asthma attack. Researchers will compare this approach to the usual method of just giving a referral. They want to see if the scheduled telehealth visit leads to more people actually seeing a specialist, which could improve asthma control and prevent future ER visits.
