Summary

This study tested whether adding technology-based alerts and extra care coordination in doctors' offices could help medical providers follow national asthma care guidelines for children. It involved over 5,000 children, aged 2-12, with persistent or uncontrolled asthma across 20 clinics. The goal was to see if this system led to better medical decisions and fewer asthma symptoms for the kids.
