Summary
This study compares two antiplatelet drug combinations—aspirin plus ticagrelor versus aspirin plus clopidogrel—in 900 adults who recently had a minor stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) caused by large-artery disease. Participants receive treatment within 24 hours of their first event and are followed for three months to see which combination better prevents new strokes while minimizing bleeding side effects. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to manage stroke risk.
