Scientists probe Aspirin's hidden power to protect moms from dangerous high blood pressure

NCT ID NCT06200571

Summary

This study aims to understand the biological changes linked to a high risk of preeclampsia, a dangerous high blood pressure condition in pregnancy. Researchers will follow 200 first-time mothers, comparing those at low risk, high risk not taking aspirin, and high risk taking aspirin. By analyzing blood, urine, and placenta samples, they hope to learn how aspirin might work to prevent this serious complication.
