Aspirin may boost ovarian cancer treatment, early trial suggests
NCT ID NCT05080946
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests whether adding aspirin to standard chemotherapy can reduce immune-suppressing cells inside ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal tumors. About 100 women will take aspirin alongside chemo before surgery. The goal is to see if this combination makes the tumor more vulnerable to the body's immune system, potentially improving treatment outcomes.
