Summary

This study tested whether a daily dose of ashwagandha, a traditional herbal supplement, could help overweight and obese adults manage their weight and reduce stress. Fifty participants were randomly assigned to take either the ashwagandha extract or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers measured changes in body weight, stress levels, and other health markers to see if the supplement was effective and safe.
