First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This phase 2 trial tests whether adding asciminib to standard tyrosine kinase inhibitors can prevent relapse in patients with Philadelphia chromosome-positive B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia or blastic phase chronic myeloid leukemia after a stem cell transplant. 45 participants will be randomly assigned to receive asciminib plus standard drugs or standard drugs alone. The study will monitor relapse rates and side effects over time.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could reduce the chance of leukemia returning after a stem cell transplant, offering a new maintenance option.
