Early dialysis may save lives in severe herbicide poisoning

Summary
This study compares starting dialysis early versus waiting for kidney damage in people who have swallowed a large amount of diquat herbicide. About 267 adults with severe poisoning will be randomly assigned to one of two approaches. The goal is to see if early dialysis reduces deaths and helps patients recover faster.
