First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study is testing a new device called ARTIDIS that measures the stiffness of breast tissue to help diagnose cancer and predict how aggressive it might be. About 2,700 adults with suspicious breast lumps will have their biopsy samples tested with ARTIDIS, and results will be compared to standard lab analysis. The goal is to see if this nanomechanical method can accurately tell benign from malignant lesions and guide treatment decisions.
