Summary
This study looked at whether a new method using blood pressure readings can measure heart contraction strength as well as the standard ultrasound method during heart surgery. 43 adults having planned heart surgery took part. The goal was to see if the simpler blood pressure method could replace the more complex ultrasound technique.
