New monitoring method could rival ultrasound for heart function checks

This study looked at 43 adults having heart surgery to see if a simple blood pressure reading can accurately measure how well the heart contracts, compared to the standard ultrasound method. The goal was to test a new software tool that analyzes the blood pressure wave. This is an observational study, not a treatment trial, so it aims to improve monitoring rather than cure or treat any disease.
