Tiny blood vessel study in women with clotting disorder halted early
NCT ID NCT01160159
First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study aimed to check if women with thrombophilia (a condition that increases blood clot risk) have differences in how their small and large blood vessels work. Researchers planned to compare these women to healthy volunteers using special imaging and tests. However, the study was stopped early and only enrolled 6 people, so no clear conclusions can be drawn.
