Scientists track 7,500 People's arteries for 16 years to predict heart attacks
NCT ID NCT06079424
Summary
This study follows 7,500 healthy volunteers for 12-16 years to understand how arteries naturally stiffen with age. Researchers use ultrasound scans to measure artery changes over time and identify which factors predict future heart problems. The goal is to better understand cardiovascular aging and improve early detection of heart disease risk.
