Can coloring mandalas calm transplant fears?
NCT ID NCT06263257
Summary
This study tested whether mandala art therapy could help people feel less anxious and more comfortable after receiving a kidney transplant from a living donor. Researchers worked with 80 transplant recipients, giving some a series of mandala drawing sessions while others did not. The goal was to see if this creative activity could improve mental and emotional well-being during recovery.
