Coloring books and breathing: a simple prescription for caregiver burnout?
NCT ID NCT07450924
Summary
This study tested whether combining a simple coloring activity with a guided relaxation exercise could help reduce stress and anxiety for family members caring for seriously ill loved ones. Researchers worked with 68 caregivers in a hospital's palliative care unit. One group practiced the coloring and relaxation routine daily for eight days, while a comparison group did not.
