Gut health supplement tested as potential appetite tamer
NCT ID NCT06884449
Summary
This study tested whether a prebiotic dietary ingredient called Arrabina could help healthy adults feel fuller and better control their appetite. Researchers gave 135 participants either one of two different doses of Arrabina or a placebo (a dummy product) for 12 weeks. They measured how hungry people felt, their eating habits, weight, and even gut bacteria to see if the supplement made a difference.
