First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study is looking for better ways to measure kidney disease progression in people with Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease (ARPKD), a rare genetic condition. Researchers will use special MRI scans to see if they can track changes in kidney health over three years. The study involves 45 people with ARPKD and 15 healthy volunteers, all aged 6 and older. The goal is to develop tools that could be used in future clinical trials to test new treatments.
