Sniffing your way to better sleep after a stroke?

NCT ID NCT07202806

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether combining aromatherapy (using scents) with a gentle brain stimulation technique called transcranial magnetic stimulation can improve sleep in people who have had a stroke and now have trouble sleeping. Six adults aged 24 to 65 who have had a stroke and suffer from insomnia will be enrolled. Their sleep will be measured before and after three weeks of treatment to see if their sleep time and quality get better.
