First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether aromatherapy (using calming scents) and music therapy can help lower stress in patients having a cerebral arteriography, a brain artery scan. About 224 adults will be randomly assigned to receive one or both therapies or standard care. The goal is to see if these relaxing techniques make the procedure easier and less stressful.
