First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests whether smelling certain essential oils (aromatherapy) can safely improve sleep in elderly women (aged 60+) who have trouble sleeping while in the hospital. 64 participants will receive either real aromatherapy or a placebo, and their sleep quality will be measured using a standard questionnaire. The goal is to find a drug-free way to help these patients rest better.
