Summary
This study looks at whether smelling lavender or bitter orange essential oils can reduce anxiety and pain in children aged 6-12 during a dental numbing shot. About 26 kids will be randomly assigned to one of three groups: lavender, bitter orange, or a placebo (empty inhaler). Researchers will measure anxiety using heart rate and blood pressure, and pain using a standard behavior scale.
