Can scents cure sleepless nights for hospitalized seniors?

NCT ID NCT07373132

Summary

This study aims to see if aromatherapy (using scented essential oils) can safely help improve sleep for elderly women with insomnia who are staying in the hospital. It will compare a real aromatherapy treatment against a placebo (a scent with no active ingredients) in 64 participants. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to ease sleep problems in this specific group.
