First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether two different essential oil blends can help people with dementia who experience sundowning (agitation in the late afternoon) and poor sleep. About 35 people living in long-term care facilities will try both formulas at different times. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free approach can reduce agitation and improve sleep quality.
