Army tests lifeline program to combat soldier suicide crisis

NCT ID NCT07404787

Summary

This study tests whether a 6-month remote support program called Pathfinding can reduce suicide risk in active-duty Army soldiers after they leave psychiatric hospital care. The program provides case management by trained mental health professionals who work with soldiers remotely. Researchers will compare soldiers who receive this extra support plus standard Army care against those who receive only standard care to see which approach works better.
