First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at how to help Suicide Intervention Officers (SIOs) in the Connecticut Army National Guard. SIOs teach suicide prevention, watch for soldiers in crisis, and connect them to help. Researchers want to see if giving SIOs more support lowers suicide risk in their units. About 57 SIOs and chaplains will take part.
