Scientists test if arm support helps stroke survivors walk better

NCT ID NCT07496853

Summary

This study aims to understand how using arm support, like holding onto a bar, changes the way people walk after a stroke. Researchers will measure walking patterns in 34 stroke survivors as they walk on a treadmill with no support, one-arm support, or two-arm support. The findings will help physical therapists design better rehabilitation programs to improve mobility.
