Summary
This study tested whether a hand massage before getting an IV can help breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Sixty women were split into two groups: one received a hand massage before IV insertion, the other did not. Researchers measured how quickly the IV was placed, as well as patients' anxiety and satisfaction levels.
