Gentle touch before chemo: can a simple massage make the IV needle less scary?

NCT ID NCT07272447

Summary

This study tested if a brief arm massage before chemotherapy could help nurses insert the IV needle more easily. Researchers compared 60 breast cancer patients, giving half a massage before the procedure. They measured how long it took to successfully place the IV, along with the patients' anxiety and satisfaction levels.
