New exercise combo may boost heart attack recovery

Summary

This study tests if combining arm and leg cycling exercise is better than leg cycling alone for improving fitness and quality of life in people who have had a heart attack. Forty medically stable adults aged 40-70 will exercise three times a week for six weeks. Researchers will measure oxygen use, walking distance, and heart-related quality of life.
