Could arm workouts be a new exercise option for diabetes?

NCT ID NCT06132334

Summary

This study tested if aerobic exercise using just the arms could help people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers worked with 40 participants to see if this type of training could improve their exercise capacity, how their muscles use oxygen, and their overall physical activity levels. The goal was to explore a safe exercise alternative, especially for those who may have foot complications from diabetes.
