Summary
This study looked at whether arm cycling exercise can improve lung function and recovery in 60 elderly patients (age 65+) after colon cancer surgery. Participants used an arm cycle ergometer to exercise their arms, and researchers measured breathing, oxygen levels, and physical function. The goal was to see if this simple exercise could help prevent common post-surgery breathing problems and weakness.
