Summary

This study tested whether aripiprazole, a medication already used for other conditions, can reduce serious behavioral issues like irritability and aggression in children and teens (ages 6-17) with autistic disorder. 98 participants received either the drug or a placebo for 8 weeks. The goal was to see if the drug improves behavior more than a placebo.
