New surgical technique aims to protect Women's fertility
NCT ID NCT07065214
Summary
This study compares two surgical approaches for removing endometriosis cysts from ovaries. Researchers want to see if a newer method using argon plasma (APC) is better at preserving ovarian reserve—a measure of future fertility potential—than the standard surgical removal (cystectomy). Seventy-two patients will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two procedures and followed for one year to measure hormone levels that indicate ovarian health.
