Argon gas breathed after cardiac arrest may shield brain from damage

Summary
This study tests whether giving argon gas to people who have been resuscitated after a cardiac arrest can reduce brain injury. Researchers will measure a brain damage marker in the blood and use MRI scans. The trial involves 120 adults who are unconscious after a witnessed cardiac arrest with a shockable heart rhythm.
