New 3D-Printed device could improve radiation for cervical cancer

Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new, custom-made 3D-printed applicator for delivering high-dose radiation (brachytherapy) to cervical cancer. The study will enroll 25 people with locally advanced cervical cancer to see if the device works as intended and is safe. The goal is to learn whether this personalized approach is feasible, not yet to prove it improves outcomes.
