First seen Dec 29, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study aims to develop a new blood test that looks at how immune cells (T cells) react to viruses spread by mosquitoes and ticks. Researchers will recruit 500 adults in Italy with suspected infections to see if this test can help diagnose these viruses more accurately than current methods. The goal is to improve disease tracking and prepare for future outbreaks.
