AR glasses aim to revolutionize common lung test
NCT ID NCT07440420
Summary
This study is testing whether augmented reality (AR) glasses can help people perform a common breathing test called spirometry more accurately. Spirometry is the main test for diagnosing COPD, but it often requires a trained technician. The AR glasses provide real-time visual and voice instructions to guide participants through the test. Researchers will compare the quality of tests done with AR guidance versus standard technician guidance across 710 participants.
