First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is testing a new augmented reality (AR) video game called "No Time Wasted" to see if it can help teens aged 16-18 learn about alcohol risks and reduce dangerous drinking behaviors. Twenty high school students will play the game using an AR headset and answer surveys about their experience and alcohol-related knowledge. The goal is to see if the game is engaging and whether it encourages safer choices and bystander help.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a new, engaging way to teach teens about alcohol risks and encourage them to help friends who drink too much.
What could go wrong
This is a very small pilot study with only 20 participants, so results may not apply widely. The game is still being developed and tested for satisfaction, not yet proven to change behavior.
