Doctors test High-Tech glasses to find veins faster
NCT ID NCT07208071
Summary
This study is testing whether an augmented reality headset can help medical providers place IVs and other catheters more successfully. Researchers will see if the technology helps doctors get access to a patient's vein on the first try and reduces the time it takes. The study will enroll 50 patients, aged 5 and older, who need an ultrasound-guided IV or catheter placed.
