Video game tech helps teens stick to scoliosis therapy
NCT ID NCT07201103
Summary
This study tested if using augmented reality (AR) technology could make standard scoliosis exercises more effective for teenagers. Thirty teens with mild to moderate scoliosis were split into two groups: one did standard exercises, and the other did the same exercises with AR assistance. The goal was to see if the AR group improved their body awareness, how they felt about their posture, and how well they stuck to their exercise plan over 12 weeks.
