Summary
This study tests Aquamin, a natural mineral supplement from red algae, to see if it can improve symptoms and help maintain remission in people with mild ulcerative colitis. About 40 adults with confirmed ulcerative colitis who are either in stable remission or have mild disease will take Aquamin. Researchers will track changes in quality of life, inflammation, and disease activity over time.
