Summary
This study is testing whether the medication apremilast can completely clear painful mouth ulcers in people with severe, hard-to-treat cases. It's a Phase 3 trial comparing apremilast to a placebo (dummy pill) over 12 weeks in 134 adults whose ulcers haven't responded to the usual first-line treatment. The main goal is to see if patients taking apremilast have no visible ulcers by the end of the treatment period.
